Jesus said it this way, “if you have seen Me then you have seen the Father”. As He explained this fact to His disciples in John 14, He was trying to get them to realize that because they knew Him, they actually knew the Father.

The Captivated message is just that! Captivated is a calling for God’s people of all ages, gender, and race to pursue His plan for us and not the world’s plan. It inspires to bring passion to live life the way He designed us all to live it. This only starts with us gaining the knowledge and the wisdom of what the Word of God tells us that we should do. Captivated challenges us all to take the wisdom of His Word and live with boldness through the power of His Holy Spirit.

Becoming Captivated by His Word, dominated by His Spirit, and living in the fullness of God is crucial for God’s people. It is time to stop being religious and trying to be “spiritual” and simply focus on the fullness of God within our lives! The most important thing that we can do is understand the Word of God and apply it, so that ultimately, we all live it and not just talk about it.

This book has been written for the purpose of edifying God’s people. It is a book written for the body of Christ and challenges them to go deeper. While this particular edition is suitable for all ages our plan is to write other versions that would approach the younger audience as well as the Captivated message in a format that ministers to specific areas of your life (i.e. The Captivated Marriage). I feel that we have to take the message to where the people are in life in order to be the most effective. We want them to be Captivated so that when they speak, and more importantly by simply the way they live, it is clear that it comes out of the most powerful Message in the world.
